With the Spring Training and the World Baseball Classic in full swing and the MLB regular season only 30 days away, I figured it was time for some predictions. Heres how I think the divisions will shape up this year...
NL Central
1) Cubs
2) Cardinals
3) Reds
4) Pirates
5) Brewers
NL East
1) Phillies
2) Mets
3) Braves
4) Marlins
5) Nationals
NL West
1) Diamondbacks
2) Dodgers
3) Giants
4) Rockies
5) Padres
Wild Card: Dodgers
Cy Young: Cole Hamels
MVP: Hanley Ramirez (thats right MVP on a 4th place team)
Rookie of the year: Cameron Maybin, OF Marlins
What does anyone else think?
*In other random sports news...congrats to Cornell, first ticket punched to the Big Dance. Bring on March Madness*

I think the cubs suck
ReplyDeleteI disagree Nick. I might be slightly biased being a Cubs fan and all, but the Cubs are the best all-around team in the NL Central, simple as that.
ReplyDeleteouch putting the brewers behind the pirates? If you check out the roster for the brew crew, they are much better then you think. Granted they lost Sheets and Sabathia, two aces, but they lost no one in the batting order keeping the core of Fielder, Braun, Hart and Hardy. And their pitching staff has the young guns of Yovani Gallardo and Manny Parra as well as the 500 saves man Trevor Hoffman to close it out. Look to see them definitely no lower then the third spot in the central.
